Semiconductor Summit NEO

When: September 21, 2023 8:30 am - 1:00 pm

What is the semiconductor supply chain opportunity in the Northeast Ohio Region?

When Intel announced in 2022 that it would build a multi-billion-dollar computer chip factory in New Albany, it created a great opportunity for the Northeast Ohio region. It will help generate jobs and boost the economy. Our region’s assets make it well positioned to support the growth of the U.S. semiconductor industry. These assets include:

  • A dedicated workforce with a strong STEM background
  • A robust education system that produces skilled workers
  • A variety of sites that are suitable for semiconductor manufacturing
  • A reliable supply of water and power

There are big industry investments – including $90B U.S. investment over the last year and a half – and
big opportunities. With the passage of the $52B CHIPS act, now is the time to get involved.

We hope you’ll join us to learn more about how you can capitalize on this enormous opportunity.

We are delighted to announce that the conference will feature keynote speaker Kevin Hoggatt, Director of State Government Affairs for Ohio, Intel Corporation.

Who should attend:

  • Manufacturers, especially advanced materials, chemicals, and machinery/equipment
  • Businesses, such as bankers, engineering firms, service providers, that can support projects
  • Members of the talent ecosystem
  • Members of the R&D ecosystem

We hope you’ll join us to learn more about how you can capitalize on this enormous opportunity.
