Bulten North America, LLC Grows in Northeast Ohio

Bulten North America, LLC, a leading manufacturer of fasteners for the automotive industry, announced plans to expand its operations in Northeast Ohio, adding 35 new jobs and retaining 21 positions.

The expansion will further boost Northeast Ohio’s $2.4 billon GRP, 25,000-worker automotive industry.

As the company looks to significantly expand its U.S. manufacturing footprint, it chose a facility in the city of Streetsboro to accommodate its growth.

“Ohio is well located geographically for the U.S. automotive industry. We look forward to use Streetsboro for our future expansion in North America,” says Anders Nyström, CEO of Bulten.

The city of Streetsboro, Portage Development Board, JobsOhio and Team NEO worked closely in the site search process as well as putting together a competitive incentive package.

“The city of Streetsboro is elated that Bulten has chosen to locate their business in our city,” said Streetsboro Mayor Glenn Broska. “Streetsboro is a prime location for business, and we welcome Bulten to our community. Many thanks go to all those involved in making this project become a reality and especially to Bulten for choosing our city. We look forward to working with them to help their business grow and prosper.”

Noting the need for industrial building in Northeast Ohio, Portage Development Board’s President Brad Ehrhart added, “We are grateful to CL Acquisitions for taking the risk to build a modern industrial building that provided the opportunity for Bulten to locate in the city of Streetsboro.”

“Access to market makes our region attractive for manufacturers, like Bulten, in the automotive supply chain,” said Bill Koehler, Team NEO CEO. “We look forward to the company’s expansion in Northeast Ohio and will do our part, along with our local partners and JobsOhio, to ensure their continued progress.”
