CAM Inc. Constructing New Development in Green

Modern Industrial Buildings Planned for Development

CAM Inc., a leading developer in the Northeast Ohio Region, announced plans to construct two buildings, totaling 108,000 square feet of modern speculative warehouse/light manufacturing and office space, in the city of Green on Corporate Woods Parkway. The project is supported with a JobsOhio $300,000 Ohio Site Inventory Program grant, a program to fill gaps in Ohio’s real estate inventory.

The site is located in a Job Hub and will be benefit businesses in a wide range of industry sectors with immediate access to I-77 and close proximity to the Akron-Canton Airport.

“CAM, Inc. appreciates the opportunity to partner with JobsOhio, Team NEO, the County of Summit, and the City of Green to promote and bring a much-needed product to the northeast Ohio market’ stated CAM, Inc. President Jeff Mockbee. “We certainly believe this project fulfills a niche market opportunity given the majority of facility requests we have seen within the commercial and industrial markets. It definitely aligns with both the size and scope of these types of buildings.”

“The City of Green welcomes the continued investment by CAM in the Akron Canton Corporate Park and support from JobsOhio to help our thriving city,” added Gerard Neugebauer, Mayor, City of Green.  “With quick access via I-77 to Akron, Canton, and minutes from our Akron Canton Airport, this is a highly desired location for small and medium-sized companies to grow and flourish.

The site will fill a need for new speculative buildings in Summit County and is another example of Team NEO’s efforts to build a pipeline of competitive sites. “To successfully attract businesses to the Northeast Ohio Region—and support the growth of current businesses—it is important to build and maintain a diverse portfolio of sites,” said Team NEO Chief Executive Officer Bill Koehler, “This project fills a need that will be attractive for small- to medium-sized companies.”
