Cleveland recommended as host city for 2016 Republican National
Convention
On July 8, Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus
announced that Cleveland beat Dallas to host the party’s 2016
convention. Not only will this opportunity provide tremendous
national exposure for Northeast Ohio, it is expected to be a
significant economic generator for Cleveland.
The choice is contingent upon a successful negotiation and the
approval of the full RNC.
