Emerson Grows in Richland County Ohio

Smart Technology Fuels Company’s Growth

Emerson Automation Solutions Actuation Technologies, a global leader in valve actuation technology, announced today plans to expand in Ontario, Ohio. The company held a groundbreaking ceremony for a new 23,000-square-foot building addition at its Park Avenue West facility. The expansion will accommodate a new product line designed, engineered and manufactured at the Richland County plant and growth of the legacy business. With this opportunity, Emerson plans to hire 20 new employees while retaining its current workforce of 174.

Emerson’s growth is being driven by the development of a new technology, the Electro-Hydraulic Operator, which uses digital controls and communications to provide remote emergency shutoff and other advanced diagnostics, alarms and automation to a variety of process industry end-users.
