Company Adds 23 Jobs to Headquarters
Employers Health, a leading group purchasing organization for pharmacy benefits, has announced plans to expand its headquarters operation in the Northeast Ohio Region. The Ohio Department of Development (ODOD) approved the project for tax credit assistance during its Ohio Tax Credit Authority meeting today. The company plans to add 23 new positions to its current staff of 35 in Canton.
Founded to address the needs of Stark County employers, today Employers Health’s diverse business portfolio includes manufacturers, professional service, education and health care firms, utilities and union organizations located in 38 states. Along with the Stark Economic Development Board, ODOD, and JobsOhio, Team NEO worked collaboratively with Employers Health leadership to build the case for expanding in the Northeast Ohio Region versus other locations outside of Ohio.
