Company Invests $2 Million, Doubles Footprint
Medina-based Fire-Dex recently broke ground on a $2 million expansion project that will create 30 new jobs for the area while retaining another 133 positions. The company is a leading manufacturer of head-to-toe protection for first responders.
As part of the project, Fire-Dex will add a 29,000-square-foot addition to its existing location at 780 S. Progress Drive in Medina. Since 2003, the company has tripled its workforce and this latest expansion will enable the company to continue to grow.
