Hydro-Aire Inc. to build facility and add new jobs
Hydro-Aire Inc., a division of Crane Aerospace & Electronics (segment of Crane Co.), has announced plans to build a new facility adjacent to its current Elyria location to grow its Lear-Romec fluid management product lines. The expansion is expected to add 26 new jobs.
Crane Aerospace & Electronics Vice President John J. Higgs had this to say about the expansion. “We are thrilled to be expanding our manufacturing footprint in Elyria, Ohio, a place where we have done business for over 100 years. The skilled resources available in Northeast Ohio, as well as the overwhelming support of Team NEO and the City of Elyria, were key factors in our decision for continued investment in the region.”
JobsOhio, the City of Elyria, Team NEO and Lorain County Community Development teamed up to offer Hydro-Aire decision-makers information and insights that facilitated the company’s decision to expand in Northeast Ohio.
