Increased Demand Drives Integra Mission Critical LLC To Expand in Akron

Integra Mission Critical LLC, offering innovative solutions to the data center industry, has announced plans to grow their business in Akron, adding 150 new jobs to their current staff of 44. The Ohio Department of Development (ODOD) approved the project for tax credit assistance during its Ohio Tax Credit Authority meeting today.

The company, named one of Inc. magazine’s 5000 fastest-growing private companies in 2021, is planning to expand by relocating its operations in Akron to 1210 Massillon Road. The new location, offering 140,000 square feet, will allow Integra Mission Critical to develop a new state-of-the-art facility where it will manufacture modular cooling units and modular electrical units for data centers.

“As we launch our expansion in Akron, Ohio, we look forward to embracing new opportunities,” said Tommy Neuman, Integra Mission Critical Chief Executive Officer. “Through strategic partnerships and the backing of local economic development boards, our goal is to drive growth and prosperity. We are committed to sustainable development and mutual success. We are proud to advance in unison with the community that has supported our journey.”

A team consisting of members of the Greater Akron Chamber, ODOD, JobsOhio, and Team NEO provided the company with information to ensure Integra Mission Critical chose to expand in the Northeast Ohio Region versus other regions in the country.

“Integra Mission Critical’s decision to expand its manufacturing footprint in Akron is yet another example of Northeast Ohio’s strength as it relates to the New Economy,” stated Gregg Cramer, Vice President of Economic Development with the Greater Akron Chamber.  “The job creation component – and corresponding technology training – are also an acknowledgement in the global competitiveness of our regional workforce.”

“Along with our local partners, ODOD and JobsOhio, we are pleased that Integra Mission Critical has selected to remain and grow in Akron,”  added Chief Executive Officer Bill Koehler. “With this new location, Integra Mission Critical will cultivate its strong talented workforce they enjoy and will continue to thrive here.”
