JobsOhio Inclusion Grant Supports JuggerBot 3D’s Growth Plans

Additive Manufacturing Machine Builder Continues to Invest in the Northeast Ohio Region

JuggerBot 3D, a Youngstown Business Incubator (YBI) portfolio company that manufactures industrial-grade 3D printers, has received a $25K Inclusion Grant from JobsOhio supporting investment in current and future employees to help increase the company’s manufacturing and servicing capacity. In addition to physical expansion, the project will add three new employees to JuggerBot 3D’s current staff of six.

“We are fortunate have organizations like JobsOhio who truly support economic development and enables company’s like JuggerBot 3D to seize innovative growth opportunities”, Zac DiVencenzo, President and Co-founder of JuggerBot 3D.

JuggerBot 3D plans to increase production capacity and technology development to support the growing demand for advanced industrial additive manufacturing equipment. An additive manufacturing (AM) roadmap released in August by the AM Roadmap Project Team – a collaboration of Team NEO, YBI, MAGNET, America Makes, prominent manufacturers (both end-user and supply-chain companies) and leading academic institutions – revealed that implementation of AM in five manufacturing sub-sectors – Medical/Dental, Transportation Equipment, Metal, Plastics/Rubber and Construction – can impact regional growth by $500 million to $1.5 billion gross regional product by 2025.

“JuggerBot 3D is a prime example of YBI’s mission to collaborate with innovative technologies for long-term opportunities in advanced manufacturing,” said Barb Ewing, CEO of YBI. “We are grateful for the support from JobsOhio and Team NEO to ensure JuggerBot 3D’s growth plans.”

“We are pleased that JobsOhio awarded an Inclusion Grant to JuggerBot 3D,” added Team NEO CEO Bill Koehler. “Along with JobsOhio, YBI and local partners, we look forward to supporting JuggerBot 3D as they continue to innovate and prosper in the Northeast Ohio Region.”
