BoxCast, a Cleveland-based live streaming technology company, has cemented plans to expand its operations in Cleveland. The expansion will bring 71 new jobs to the area and retain 25 positions.
Cleveland as a Growing Technology Hotbed
BoxCast CEO, Gordon Daily, cited the business-friendly environment and qualified talent in Northeast Ohio as key decision-making factors for selecting Cleveland. “We have deep roots in Cleveland and have been here since day one. We recognized early on that, to successfully build and grow a company, we need to attract the caliber of employee who not only has the vision and talent to succeed, but who also shares our core values. Cleveland has the depth and breadth of talent we need to take over the live streaming market!”
“BoxCast is on the forefront of a burgeoning new trend in technology today – live streaming. This company could have chosen any number of technology hotbeds in the United States. Its choice to stay and grow in Cleveland sends a strong message to the industry that Northeast Ohio is an extremely competitive market for today’s talent,” said JobsOhio Managing Director for Information Technology Ted Griffith. “The company’s investment will continue to make live streaming easier for its customers worldwide while strengthening the growing IT clusters here in Ohio.”
