Millennial Brain Gain Fuels Cleveland’s National
Resurgence
Cleveland’s rapid urban renewal has been partially driven
by the increasing number of young high-skilled professionals that
are moving to the city for better employment opportunities, while
also escaping the substantial living costs, taxes and regulations
that come as the inherent burdens of living in big cities.
According to a recent report by the Center for Population
Dynamics at Cleveland State University, Cleveland is experiencing
significant brain gain and increasingly diverse neighborhoods
thanks to the arrival of these millennial high-skilled
professionals.
