Ernst & Young’s Monte Repasky and Home Savings’ Gary Small join Team NEO’s Board of Directors
The Board of Directors of Team NEO appointed Monte C. Repasky, Audit Partner, Assurance Leader for Ernst Young LLP and Gary M. Small, President & CEO of Home Savings, to the organization’s Board. Team NEO’s Board oversees the economic development organization and is responsible for leading the implementation of Northeast Ohio’s Regional Economic Competitiveness Strategy (RECS), which was created by business and philanthropic leaders to guide the region’s growth.
“I am delighted to welcome Mr. Repasky and Mr. Small to our Board,” said Team NEO CEO Bill Koehler. “They each possess unique expertise and talents that will help Team NEO and the regional economic development system as we work to add jobs, payroll and capital investment to the region.”

Mr. Repasky’s appointment to the Team NEO Board brings important insights with his experience in serving clients across several key industries in acquisitions and other areas. As a longtime Northeast Ohio resident and leading businessman in the region, Mr. Small has an in-depth understanding of economic development opportunities and challenges to help drive job creation and capital investment here.
About Monte C. Repasky
Monte Repasky is an audit partner in Ernst & Young’s assurance practice based in Northeast Ohio. Monte has 27 years of experience (14 as a partner) serving a wide variety of global clients primarily in manufacturing, aerospace, transportation and construction. He is also the partner in charge of the assurance practice for the geography that includes Northeast Ohio, West Virginia and Western Pennsylvania. Monte has extensive experience in working with international corporations in acquisitions, divestitures and spin-offs, revenue recognition, accounting for income taxes, stock compensation accounting, all forms of financing arrangement transactions and SEC reporting and filing matters.
About Gary M. Small
With over 30 years of banking industry experience, Gary Small joined Home Savings as the President and CEO in April 2014. Prior to joining Home Savings, he served as Senior Executive Vice President – Chief Banking Officer for S&T Bank in Indiana, Pennsylvania, with responsibility for their Wealth Management, Retail Banking and Insurance business groups. Gary was with Sky Financial Group, serving as its Executive Vice President – Head of Regional Banking, and subsequent to its merger with Huntington Bank, he served as Huntington Bank’s Executive Vice President – Regional Banking Group President. He also spent 20 years with National City Corporation in a number of senior operating and financial roles, including four years as an Executive Vice President with responsibility for over 200 branch locations across the Midwest. Earning a degree from Indiana University and an MBA from The University of Indianapolis, Gary currently serves on the boards of the Youngstown – Warren Regional Chamber, the Western Reserve Historical Society and Beech Brook Children’s Services. Gary and his wife Jane have happily called Northeast Ohio home for nearly 25 years.
