Northeast Ohio GRP Projected $247B in 2025
The future is bright for our region. In the coming decade,
Northeast Ohio’s gross regional product (GRP) is projected to grow
by 14% to become a $247 billion economy. The strongest growth is
expected to occur in the manufacturing industry, which is projected
to grow 34% to become a $56 billion sector, or 23% of the
economy.
Other significant increases are expected for healthcare ($3.5
billion or 17%), headquarters ($1 billion or 12%) and professional,
scientific and technical services ($1.5 billion or 14%)
sectors.
