Fast-growing Healthcare Company Selects Twinsburg Township as Headquarters

reLink Medical to double workforce at new location

CLEVELAND, Ohio, December 10, 2018 – reLink Medical, a unique, growing healthcare solutions company that is reinventing the way hospitals dispose of excess and out-of-service medical equipment, has announced plans to move its headquarters from Aurora, Ohio, to Twinsburg Township. The company will add 30 new positions, doubling its current workforce.

reLink Medical makes it easy for health systems to reduce waste, increase equipment reuse, comply with environmental and privacy regulations, and add millions of new dollars to their bottom lines. The company combines proprietary technology, analytics and a global buyer network allowing hospitals to see what equipment is sold, donated or recycled, and match records back to their corporate systems. The move was necessitated by the company’s strong sales growth.

“We are excited by the fantastic response from health systems regarding the value reLink is providing,” said Jeff Dalton, president and COO at reLink Medical. “To best serve our customers, we needed to relocate to a new headquarters location that would meet the unique needs of our industry. JobsOhio, Team NEO and Twinsburg Township were instrumental in helping us confirm Northeast Ohio is the right place to grow our business for years to come.”

reLink Medical had considered other out-of-state options where they have a presence; however, an economic development team at the local, regional and state level worked together to ensure reLink Medical chose Northeast Ohio for its expansion.

“reLink Medical is growing quickly, and a talented workforce was essential to bringing their headquarters and 30 new jobs to Twinsburg Township,” said Bill Koehler, Team NEO’s CEO. “We appreciate the collaborative effort with the Greater Akron Chamber, Summit County, Twinsburg Township, BioEnterprise and JobsOhio to keep reLink Medical in Northeast Ohio. The company’s decision to continue growing here is a testament to the region’s robust healthcare innovation cluster.”

“BioEnterprise congratulates reLink Medical on its workforce expansion and upcoming headquarters relocation, and we’re proud to have worked alongside JobsOhio to help the company reach this milestone,” added Aram Nerpouni, president and CEO of BioEnterprise. “reLink Medical is another example of the substantial impact that biomedical companies are making on economic and job growth in Northeast Ohio.”
