Rimeco Products, Inc. to Invest $3.6 Million in Ohio

Company Chooses Ohio, Leveraging Local Trade Schools and Community Colleges to Grow Workforce

Rimeco Products, Inc., a precision CNC shop serving the aerospace, aviation and defense industries, has announced it is purchasing a new building in Willoughby, Ohio to accommodate expanding operations. The company will invest $3.6 million and plans to add 38 new jobs and also retain 38 positions.

“Rimeco Products is excited to expand in Willoughby. We have been working with local area trade schools and community colleges to grow our talented workforce,” said Rimeco Products President John Ribic. “The expansion not only gives us the capacity to fill the current increase in our customers’ needs, but the room to continue to increase our capacity for years to come.”

The City of Willoughby, Lake County Ohio Port and Economic Development Authority, Greater Cleveland Partnership, Ohio Aerospace Institute, JobsOhio and Team NEO worked together to support Rimeco Products’ expansion.

“Northeast Ohio is home to some of the world’s most innovative companies, so we are delighted that Rimeco Products, innovators of world class processes to machine stainless steel and high nickel alloys with components in nearly every jet engine produced in the world, has chosen to expand in Willoughby,” said Bill Koehler, CEO of Team NEO. “This investment confirms Rimeco’s confidence in the people and resources of Lake County.”

“John Ribic has always been active in the Lake County community and we were happy to help him expand his business in Willoughby,” added Mark Rantala, executive director of the Lake County Ohio Port and Economic Development Authority. “This is a big win for both the city and county as we continue to help all of our companies grow here in Lake County, Ohio.”
