Tax Credits Approved with 215 New Northeast Ohio Jobs

On March 3, 2014, the Ohio Tax Credit Authority approved Job
Creation Tax Credits to facilitate the creation of 215 new
Northeast Ohio jobs and investments totaling more than $5
million.

Companies receiving credits are in the polymers and chemicals,
financial services as well as information services and software
industries. Locations include Cuyahoga, Huron and Portage
counties.

The Job Creation Tax Credit (JCTC) is a refundable tax credit that
can be granted to companies with significant new job creation and
is applied toward the company’s Ohio commercial activity tax
