Tax Credits Approved with 319 New Northeast Ohio Jobs

On June 24, 2013, the Ohio Tax Credit Authority approved Job
Creation Tax Credits to facilitate the creation of 319 new
Northeast Ohio jobs and investments totaling $246,527,500.
Companies receiving credits are in the advanced manufacturing, food
sciences and agriculture, biohealth and polymer and chemical
sectors. They are located in Medina, Huron, Wayne, Ashtabula and
Summit counties.
The Job Creation Tax Credit (JCTC) is a refundable tax credit that
can be granted to companies with significant new job creation and
is applied toward the company’s Ohio commercial activity tax
