Tax Credits Approved with 550 New Northeast Ohio Jobs

On December 17, 2013, the Ohio Tax Credit Authority approved Job
Creation Tax Credits to facilitate the creation of 550 new
Northeast Ohio jobs and investments totaling nearly $35
million.

Companies receiving credits are in the food sciences and
agriculture and the corporate and professional services industries.
Locations include Summit and Mahoning counties.

The Job Creation Tax Credit (JCTC) is a refundable tax credit that
can be granted to companies with significant new job creation and
is applied toward the company’s Ohio commercial activity tax
