New members bring experience to advance strategies that will support target industries
The board of directors of Team NEO has elected three new members from the Northeast Ohio business community, all with experience that will support the nonprofit economic development organizations’ work to advance growth in target industries:
- Kelly Lamirand, Cleveland Market President and Commercial Sales Leader: KeyBank
- Michelle Moran, Senior Vice President, Sales, Produce and Marketing: Involta
- Ron Paydo, Market President Akron/Canton: Huntington
“These influential leaders bring fresh perspectives that will help us uncover new business development opportunities, advance our strategies, and ultimately help Team NEO and the entire economic development network grow the economy and increase prosperity for everyone in the Northeast Ohio Region,” said Team NEO Chief Executive Officer Bill Koehler.

About Kelly Lamirand
Kelly Lamirand serves as Market President for Key’s Cleveland market, and as such is the senior representative and spokesperson leading the organization’s economic and community development efforts for the market. She also oversees the Cleveland Commercial Banking team, a group of professionals dedicated to providing expertise and financial solutions to Commercial Banking clients whose revenues range from $25-$500 million.
Prior to this position, Kelly served as Regional Credit Executive, leading the Great Lakes Credit team in supporting the Middle Market bankers in Ohio, Indiana, Pennsylvania and Michigan for KeyBank.
Kelly began her career at KeyCorp in 1998 as a management associate in the credit training program. Throughout her career at Key she has gained lending experience in various roles including portfolio management and underwriting. Mrs. Lamirand was promoted to Credit Officer and Vice President in 2003. She was named the District Credit Officer in 2012 where she was responsible for the credit function supporting various lines of business in Key’s Corporate and Community Bank. She again expanded her geographic reach in 2015 as a Regional Credit Executive.
Active in the community, Kelly serves on the Board of Directors at Magnificat High School. Additionally, she participates in Key’s Executive Women’s Network and has sat of the local board of the Risk Management Association, with one term as treasurer. She also serves as a mentor in KeyBank’s MentorMe Program, working to develop and coach young talent at the bank. In 2012, she was named a Woman of Professional Excellence by the YWCA. Most recently, Lamirand was named a “Woman of Note“ by Crain’s Cleveland Business, adding to her “Notable in Finance” and “People to Watch in Finance” appearances in the publication.
Kelly received her Bachelor of Science degree in finance from Miami University in 1998, with a minor in economics. She lives in Avon Lake, Ohio with her husband Dean and three sons.
About Michelle Moran
Michelle Moran, Senior Vice President of Sales, Business Development, and Marketing, is an inventive, passionate and reliable leader in the IT industry. Michelle believes in the power and importance of culture and has been instrumental in prioritizing growth and success throughout Involta’s expansion into new markets. Her exceptional leadership enabled her team to position Involta for a successful acquisition by Carlyle (NASDAQ: CG).
Outside of Involta, Michelle is passionate about the intersection of the technology industry, economic development and education. She sits on the boards of several prestigious organizations, including Team NEO, the Greater Akron Chamber and the Workforce Development Board of Medina and Summit Counties. As a member of Leadership Akron, she works with local high schools to support IT education initiatives and jobs, and as an Advisor to the President of Stark State College, Michelle amplifies the impact of technology certifications on students’ career paths and regional growth.
Michelle holds a BA in interpersonal public communications and marketing with a minor in computer science from Bowling Green State University.
Ron Paydo
Ron serves as Market President for Huntington Bank’s Akron/Canton area, enabling Huntington’s ability to drive the bank’s vision to become the country’s leading ‘People-First, Digitally Powered” bank.
Previously, Ron worked as the Dedicated Business Banking Group Director and Community President in Medina, Ohio. Ron has been with Huntington or previous banks since 1987, when he began his banking career as a Management Trainee with FirstMeritBank.
Ron was a Regional President for FirstMerit covering Medina, Richland, and Ashland counties, before becoming the Director of Small Business Banking until 2016. He became the Business Banking Area Manager for Canton, Akron, and the Mahoning Valley upon the FirstMerit merger with Huntington. During his tenure, he’s held regional leadership roles since the merger.
Ron is very active in the community and serves on several boards including the American Red Cross of Summit & Medina; Boy Scouts of America Great Trail Council; Greater Akron Chamber of Commerce; Greater Medina Chamber of Commerce – President; Medina Economic Development Corporation – Board Development Committee; Medina Hospital/Cleveland Clinic; Salvation Army Wadsworth Corp; United Way of Summit & Medina – Executive Committee. He is also a founder of the Blue Coats and Downtown Wadsworth organizations.
Active in mentoring youth, Ron and his wife Kathleen have fostered more than 160 children. Together, they also hosted seven exchange students through the local Rotary Club.
Ron lives in Wadsworth, Ohio with his family.
