TTM Technologies Committed to Mahoning Valley

Plans for growth, adding 50 new jobs

TTM Technologies, a leading global technologies solutions manufacturing company, has announced plans to grow at their North Jackson location, adding 50 new jobs and retaining 200 positions. The Ohio Department of Development (ODOD) approved the project for tax credit assistance during its Ohio Tax Credit Authority meeting today.

As the company reviewed its U.S. locations for modernization and growth opportunities, it selected the facility in the Northeast Ohio Region for expansion. TTM Technologies’ investment will help produce essential components for many industries that have a large presence in the region, including aerospace, automotive, medical devices, and industrial controls and automation.

Phil Titterton, COO of TTM Technologies, stated, “TTM Technologies is pleased to bring this expansion of capability and opportunity for workforce growth to North Jackson, Ohio.  The engagement by Team NEO, the Ohio Department of Development, and JobsOhio to understand our extensive workforce training requirements was invaluable in our decision to grow this facility. This successful process has allowed all involved to develop a better understanding of the importance and criticality of U.S. made printed circuit boards. We appreciate these partnerships and the community as TTM continues to expand our diverse and dedicated workforce in North Jackson.”

JobsOhio, ODOD, and Team NEO worked with TTM Technologies, one of the world’s leading PCB manufacturers, providing resources to ensure the company’s growth in the Northeast Ohio Region.

”Northeast Ohio continues to see investment across the semiconductor and microelectronics supply chain,” stated Team NEO Chief Executive Officer Bill Koehler. “TTM Technologies’ commitment and growth validates the strength of the microelectronics ecosystems here. Along with our partners at ODOD and JobsOhio, we are grateful to see TTM Technologies stay and grow in Mahoning County.”
