Why the Northeast Ohio Region?
Talent pool. There are so many phenomenal universities and young talent in Northeast Ohio – the talent pool gets me excited! I pull a ton of talent from Akron and Cleveland – and Northeast Ohio is a great place to recruit talent once you get them here and show them how special it is.
Quality of talent. The Northeast Ohio Region has hard workers and talented, smart tech people. If you get to be a large company with thousands of employees, you have choices of where to go. We’ve chosen to stay right here in Northeast Ohio.
Affordability. The people we’ve transferred from other places can’t believe how affordable the housing is here. And, if you’re building out your business, Northeast Ohio’s office space is really affordable. You get more bang for your buck in real estate than any place in the country.
Infrastructure. Our highway systems are phenomenal; we have so little congestion. I love the airports. I do a lot of business on the east coast and throughout the Midwest and it’s easy to get where I need to be.
Healthcare. We have some of the best hospitals in the world in Northeast Ohio. I’ve experienced this firsthand: My daughter had to have surgery one day into life, and Akron Children’s Hospital was phenomenal.
The best of all worlds. Northeast Ohio is a mix between big city and a good, midwestern town. I’m building a giant company and we use Cleveland’s amenities like we would a big city. This is a thriving, young community and I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else.
Perfect day in the Northeast Ohio Region?
There are so many things to do here, and it’s different each season (I love the seasonality!). Catch a Browns, Guardians or Cavs game, then see a show at our amazing theater district. In the summer, enjoy Lake Erie at a waterfront restaurant or by boat – there’s not a more beautiful place to watch a sunset!
