Spotlight: OMEC Smart Card, LLC.
OMEC Smart Card, LLC, a leading manufacturer of products that serve municipal, governmental, industrial, and enterprise customers worldwide, chose the Northeast Ohio Region for its first North American facility. The company anticipates hiring 200 employees at the new operations center.
The growth is to accommodate and serve OMEC’s North American customers. The company, headquartered in Shanghai, China, cited a business-friendly environment, available talent, and access to market as reasons for selecting the Strongsville location.
