Northeast Ohio women are most underrepresented in Construction, Installation, Maintenance, Repair, and Military occupations. Employers who offer more benefits such as medical, parental, caregiving, deployment, or other types of leave benefits stand to capitalize most on attracting and retaining working women, who during the pandemic had to either drastically reduce their working hours or leave the workforce entirely.
