Transcript

J.P. Nauseef: Good morning. I’d like to thank Matt Dolan and the entire team at Team NEO for the opportunity to address you via video this morning. First congratulations Matt, you’ve really hit the ground running. As a member of Team Ohio we see the community coming together as a unified voice and that’s already paying off as we see you advancing the aim to expand national missions right here in Northeast Ohio. Our state’s experiencing economic momentum unlike any we’ve seen in a generation. Just 15 years ago, Ohio was amongst the bottom 10 states for business climate and job growth and today Ohio ranks among the top states nationwide for economic development. The hard work team Neo is doing for Northeast Ohio is setting records. In 2024, they had the highest number of project wins in a single year for any region in jobs Ohio’s history. Congratulations Team NEO. Let’s take a look back at what we’ve been building together over the past five years.

Gov. Mike Dewine: We have had huge victories. We have brought companies into the state of Ohio. All the high-profile ones would not have happened but for jobsOhio.

Gov. Shaprio: Our neighbors in Ohio a million and a half fewer people than Pennsylvania. I am sick and tired to losing to these other states I don’t want to lose the freaking Ohio anymore.

>> Here’s the best part for Ohio 1,800 new union jobs right here in this assembly line. To the Ford team thank you for your continued commitment to Ohio. We are your proud partner.

Matt Dolan: We can’t go to space, we can’t go to the moon, we can’t go to Mars, unless some of the research that’s being done right here in Cleveland Ohio goes into the space program.
