Celebrating National Women’s Small Business Month
As we recognize National Women’s Small Business Month, Team NEO is proud to highlight women business owners, founders, and innovators, who have been awarded a JobsOhio Small Business Grant.
As part of a five-year economic competitiveness strategy that began in 2019, JobsOhio created the program in 2020 to help small businesses in Ohio access critical capital for growth. Since then, Team NEO has been the leader in helping small business thrive, awarding over $7M in grants – including support of 67 women-owned companies awarded $3M in JobsOhio Small Business Grants.
“Every grant awarded to a woman-owned business helps close the opportunity gap, empowering more women to bring their ideas to life,” said Stephen Caviness, Senior Director, Project Management for Team NEO. “Their businesses expand opportunity across our communities.”
A recent recipient of a JobsOhio Small Business Grant is woman-owned business Warwick Communications in Garfield Heights. The company, which provides managed services, cybersecurity, and voice solutions, commented on how the grant will impact its business. “We’re honored to receive this JobsOhio Small Business Grant, which will accelerate our technology investments and strengthen the cybersecurity and managed service solutions our clients rely on,” said Heidi Murphy, Principal at Warwick Communications. “This support helps us continue driving innovation and expanding opportunities for businesses across Ohio.”
