New location to manufacture precision energetics and safety systems for defense and space Industries
Pacific Scientific Energetic Materials Company (PacSci EMC), a global leader in developing and manufacturing precision energetics, launch and landing, and safety systems for defense and space applications, has announced plans to open a facility in Solon.
The company will establish operations at 28775 Aurora Road in Solon, creating 75 new positions. The Ohio Department of Development announced that a tax credit was approved at today’s Ohio Tax Credit Authority meeting.
The expansion directly supports the growth of PacSci EMC and its ability to meet rising demand for precision energetic and electronic components produced at the new facility.
“We’re excited about this expansion as we scale production to meet growing demand and continue bringing innovative and reliable systems to our customer,” said PacSci EMC President Corey Christmann. “Northeast Ohio offers the skilled workforce, collaborative partners and business-friendly environment we need to grow, and we’re grateful for the support from the city of Solon, ODOD, JobsOhio and Team NEO for their partnership on this project.”
A project team including the city of Solon, ODOD, JobsOhio, and Team NEO worked closely with PacSci EMC to support their decision to locate new operations in the Cleveland area.
