Advanced manufacturing company serves aerospace and energy industries
Poly6 Technologies, Inc., a subsidiary of Consolidated Precision Products Corp. (CPP), announced plans to add operations in Eastlake. The project will add 164 new positions and was approved for tax credit assistance by the Ohio Department of Development during today’s Ohio Tax Credit Authority meeting.
Poly6 Technologies applies Industry 4.0 additive manufacturing to some of the most complex processes in aerospace casting. The company’s advanced ceramic additive technology enables production of multi-wall ceramic cores with geometries that are very difficult to achieve with conventional methods. These cores form the internal cooling passageways in turbine engine airfoils, enabling the higher-temperature operation and improved efficiency required by next-generation engines.
“Next-generation engines require airfoil geometries of exceptional complexity,” said Ryan Walker, President, Airfoils Division, Consolidated Precision Products (CPP). “Expanding Poly6’s footprint in Eastlake allows CPP to meet those requirements at production scale and stay ahead of the industry’s increasing demand for advanced airfoil components.”

A cross-organization team including JobsOhio, ODOD, Team NEO, City of Eastlake, and Lake Development Authority collaborated in an effort to strengthen the business case for adding the operations in Ohio.

Advanced manufacturing is the backbone of the Northeast Ohio economy and a major driver of future growth. Manufacturing represents roughly 18–20% of the region’s GDP and about a $46 billion industry with more than 200,000 workers.
