Webb Chemical Service Corporation to Open Chemical Distribution Center in Strongsville New Operation will Enhance Midwest Distribution

CLEVELAND, Ohio, April 27, 2026 – Webb Chemical Service Corporation, a full-service chemical and food ingredient distributor, announced plans to establish its first Ohio location with a new distribution center in Strongsville. The project will enable improved responsiveness and continued delivery of high-quality products and solutions to its customers in the Midwest. Webb Chemical Service Corporation plans to hire 25 new employees and retain three existing positions. The Ohio Department of Development (ODOD) approved the project for tax credit assistance during its Ohio Tax Credit Authority meeting today.

The company plans to restore, renovate, and enhance a former chemical distribution site that has been idle for more than five years, located at 2600 Drake Road in Strongsville.

“Opening the Strongsville location illustrates our vision to work collaboratively with public and private economic partners to fuel growth in Ohio,” said Web Chemical Services Corporation Chief Executive Officer Brad Hilleary. “With the help of Team NEO and JobsOhio we hope to unlock the potential of this beneficial reuse facility to help source, store, and deliver critical raw materials to Ohio manufacturers to help create flourishing communities.”

An economic development team, including the city of Strongsville, ODOD, JobsOhio, and Team NEO worked together to ensure the project landed in the Northeast Ohio region versus other locations where the company has operations.

“The City of Strongsville welcomes Webb Chemical to our business community,” said Mayor Thomas P. Perciak, city of Strongsville. “Their decision to invest and create jobs within Strongsville reflects the strength of our local economy and further demonstrates the region’s ability to attract out-of-state investment.”

“Webb Chemical Service Corporation’s decision to open a distribution center in the city of Strongsville reinforces our strategic location and logistics infrastructure,” added Team NEO Chief Executive Officer Matt Dolan. “Along with the city of Strongsville Mayor Tom Perciak, ODOD, and JobsOhio we look forward to supporting the company’s new distribution center.”
