Delivering project wins in all 14 Northeast Ohio counties
CLEVELAND, Ohio, February 9, 2026 – Team NEO released its annual Performance & Impact Report today, highlighting results the organization achieved in partnership with JobsOhio and the Northeast Ohio Economic Development Network. Team NEO completed 92 business investments that will generate 2,953 new jobs, $188 million in annual payroll, $455 million in capital investment, and 7,197 retained jobs. These results represent project wins in all 14 Northeast Ohio counties and made the region the statewide leader in total project wins for 2025.
In his first year at the helm, Team NEO’s Chief Executive Officer Matt Dolan commented on the impact of the organization’s core mission to retain, expand, and attract jobs, businesses, and opportunities to Northeast Ohio, “Every project we support strengthens our regional economy, helps companies thrive, and ensures long-term prosperity for the people who live and work here.”
Some of the highlights of the report include:
- LazyerZero selected Streetsboro after a competitive evaluation of multiple states. The globally recognized leader designs and builds reliable power equipment for industries such as data centers to ensure computers and servers always stay powered safely and without interruption. The expansion will support rapid customer growth and will include a 120,000-square-foot addition to the existing facility, creating new manufacturing, warehouse, and support space. The project will result in 535 newjobs, retain 278 positions, and represent a $14 million capital investment.
- The Site Industrial Pilot Program, conducted by Team NEO’s Right Sites Council, brought together engineering, architecture, environmental, and construction professionals to identify buildable, cost-conscious, and market-ready development concepts aligned with regional and industry needs – strengthening Northeast Ohio’s pipeline of competitive sites.
- Ohio Space Forum was produced by Team NEO and held at NASA Glenn Research Center on September 11 as part of Ohio Space Week, September 8-13. The program featured remarks from national recognized speakers, including Keynote Robert Lightfoot, President of Lockheed Martin Space and NASA Astronaut Sunita “Suni” Williams. By producing the Ohio Space Forum, Team NEO demonstrated that Northeast Ohio is an active and growing aerospace market, bringing industry leaders together to showcase the region’s innovation and momentum.
- Newly appointment CEO Matt Dolan embarked on a 14-county listening tour to engage regional partners, gain a better understanding of ongoing efforts, and identify opportunities to collaborate more effectively. The listening tour included 18 tours at businesses, 50 meetings, and 12 media interviews.
